Programming of an instrumentation inventory management software
This software was designed for a customer that wanted to maintain a reliable control
equipment list. The software can manage the plant sectors, control loops, systems
and physical equipment. With this tool, it is easy for an electrician, a technician
or an engineer to know with accuracy the model and function a given process instrument.
This is a valuable knowledge when, for example, a defective equipment has to be
replaced.
The software is based on the following technology:
- Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) for the interface
- Entity Framwork for the data access layer
- Visual Basic.NET 2010 for the logic
- SQL Server 2008 R2 for the data
